Our Story
David Cock was a farmer, a very fine cricketer, a community-minded man and a Justice of the Peace.
Growing Communities
Growing Communities is a small grant programme which was launched in 2019, in memory of David, to inspire and support people of all ages to get outside and connect with nature. The programme closed on 1st November 2024 after five years of helping local communities with 63 grants awarded.
If you are a small registered charity, school or voluntary group who runs an outdoor project and needs a bit of help to get your community outdoors and growing, we’d love to hear from you.
